The shoes will be sold at a charity auction
Every racing team competing in the World Championship has official merchandise. The Alfa Romeo factory team in Formula 1 is no exception, however, even among the set of items and accessories publicly available to all fans of the team, an exclusive item appeared – together with the Italian Alfa Romeo F1 Team Orlen team, its sponsor Accelleron created an exclusive pair of Puma sneakers, which will be sold with auction. All proceeds from the sale will be donated to the Save the Children project, which is fighting for the rights of children around the world.
Jetmir Dzelili, an Accelleron employee and artist who started customizing shoes in 2020 under the name Jedy, spent 37 hours hand-painting the shoes. The sneakers have an image of the Alfa Romeo C42 car that the team used in the 2022 season.
Also in the drawings you can find references to the racing helmets of the pilots of the team – the Finn Valtteri Bottas and the Chinese Zhou Guanyu. The Puma Basket Classic XXI sneakers in size 41 were taken as the basis, but it is unlikely that the buyer will use the shoes for their intended purpose.
In addition to the fact that the sneakers have a unique handmade coloring, during the October presentation of the shoe, the Alfa Romeo F1 Team Orlen racers left their autographs on it. The fight for sneakers is on the F1 Authentics online auction, which runs from November 20 to December 6, 2022. At the time of the release of the material, 14 bets were made, the maximum of which was 1,225 pounds sterling, or a little over 94 thousand rubles at the current rate.
